🧑🎨 Who Should Apply?
The fellowship is open to emerging artists who meet the following requirements:
- Must be a legal resident of Alaska
 - Must be 18 years or older
 - Cannot be a full-time student or enrolled in an art-related degree or certification program
 - Must apply as an individual, not a group or collaborative team
 - Cannot have received a previous Connie Boochever Fellowship
 
An “emerging artist” is defined as someone who:
- Is the principal creator of original work
 - Is taking creative risks and developing a distinct artistic voice
 - Shows evidence of early professional achievement
 - Has potential, but is not yet widely recognized in the field
